De ene is glucosamine sulfaat, de andere glucosamine hydrochloride. Hydrochloride wordt vaak afgekort tot HCl.<\/p>\n<p>Vrijwel al het onderzoek naar de werking van glucosamine bij artrose is gedaan met glucosamine sulfaat. Het lijkt in de praktijk ook wat effectiever dan glucosamine hydrochloride.
